Detroit Police Investigating After Man Found Shot Dead Inside Car

Police have not arrested a suspected shooter and did not give any other details.

DETROIT — Police are investigating after a man was found shot to death inside a car near a Detroit freeway earlier this week.

Officers found the man dead with a gunshot wound inside a car in the area of John C. Lodge Service Drive at Atkinson Street around 8 p.m. Wednesday, according to police.

Police have not arrested a suspected shooter and did not release any other details.
