Detroit Police Name Person Of Interest In Christmas Day Shooting
62-year-old Dwayne McDonald was named the person of interest by Detroit Police, officials said.

DETROIT — Detroit Police said they are searching for the husband of a 57-year-old woman who along with her 13-year-old daughter was fatally shot inside a home on Christmas Day, police said.
62-year-old Dwayne McDonald was named the person of interest by Detroit Police, officials said. Police believe he could be driving a gray Buick Lucerne with Michigan license plate EKY 4074.
While police named McDonald as a person of interest, they reiterated it remains unclear if he is a suspect in the case, police said.

57-year-old Elaine Fizer and her 13-year-old daughter, Daunya, who is handicapped were found dead Saturday at 4:00 p.m. inside a Detroit home on the 18000 block of Prevost on the city's west side, police said.
McDonald is the Fizer's husband, but he not Daunya's father, police said.

The family of Fizer and Daunya created a GoFundMe page to help with the funeral costs of both Elaine and Daunya.
