Detroit's U Prep Schools Rolls Out Virtual Open House Experiences
Prospective students, families can meet school leadership, faculty and staff, and learn about how U Prep prepares students for success

In preparation for the 2020-2021 school year – be it face-to-face instruction, online instruction or blended schedules – U Prep Schools is hosting virtual open house events at all 10 of its schools for families to discover the U Prep Experience.
During the virtual open houses hosted via Zoom, parents and students alike have an opportunity to meet the school director, school operations manager, as well as faculty and staff. Prospective families can learn about U Prep Schools’ career pathways and other unique learning opportunities, partnerships and collaborations, its resource rich community and more.
Celebrating 20 years serving the families of Detroit, U Prep Schools is steeped in values, traditions, experiences and structures to develop engaged college and career ready learners. U Prep Schools serves children in grades K-12 through experiential and individualized learning programs in state-of-the-art learning facilities located in Detroit.

The 10 U Prep Schools serve students throughout three school districts: University Prep Academy, University Prep Science & Math and University Prep Art & Design.
U Prep Schools is one of Detroit’s longest-standing and largest tuition-free and non-profit public charter school systems. It is the only school network in Detroit that consistently delivers on its promise that 90 percent or more students graduate and 90 percent or more are accepted to college.
