DTLR Donates Nearly 2,600 Toys to Families in Need in Detroit

DTLR held its annual "Soleful Time of the Year" toy drive at its stores across the country to bring cheer to the communities it serves

DTLR, one of the country's most successful lifestyle retailers with over 245 stores in 19 states, recently donated nearly 2,600 toys to families in need in Detroit. The toys were collected at all DTLR stores in Detroit as part of the retailer’s annual “Soleful Time of the Year” toy drive. At the close of the toy drive, DTLR partnered with Healthy Kidz Inc., Justice 4 Jada, Grand Rapids Boys and Girls Club and the Clarence E. Phillips Ascend Foundation to distribute the toys and bring cheer to families this holiday season. DTLR’s “Soleful Time of the Year” toy drive took place at all DTLR stores across the country in December. In total, DTLR donated more than 39,000 toys across the 19 states it serves.

DTLR takes pride in its role in fashion, music and culture, and gives back to the communities it serves through several other programs, including fresh produce giveaways and partnerships with athletes and recording artists to support local schools and communities.
