Dutch Girl Donuts Pauses Business
The lack of a full staff has prompted the popular donut shop that has been around for over 75 years to halt business.

DETROIT—Dutch Girl donuts in Detroit said on Tuesday evening they have indefinitely paused operations due to staffing shortages.
In a FaceBook message, the famous donut shop located at Seven Mile and Woodward said, "In an effort to resume a full staff and hours that we have prided ourselves on for 75 years, we have decided to temporarily pause operations."
“Dutch Girl will be closed starting 9/1. We appreciate all your support over the years and will continue to keep you updated.”

The donut shop did not announce when they will open back up after closing their doors on Wednesday morning, but say they'll provide updates.
