Ecorse Public Schools Celebrates with Ecorse Grandparent's Tea

Event and Program to be held Tuesday, December 3 at Ecorse High School

Grandparents and other older adults can be very important people in children’s lives. Children feel a sense of pride and accomplishment when they know that people in their extended family and community are interested in their education. Ecorse Public Schools is hosting a Grandparent’s Tea celebration on Tuesday, December 3rd to recognize the importance of our heritage, our community, and relationships across generations.

The Ecorse Public Schools District, its principals, teachers and students are inviting the grandparents of its students to the event being held in the Ecorse High School Media Center on Tuesday, December 3rd, from 9:30 to 11:00 am. This event is intended for district children and their grandparents/step-grandparents or a special “grandfriend.” The district also understands that all children don’t have grandparents, and that some grandparents will be unable to attend.
