Fan Authentics Online Store Gets 'F' Rating From Better business Bureau
Here's how unhappy customers across U.S. can file complaints against Michigan company with Better Business Bureau, state attorney general.

SOUTHFIELD, MI — The Better Business Bureau has issued a warning to steer sports fans away from the Southfield-based Fan Authentics, which has hundreds of unhappy customers who ordered merchandise with their favorite sports teams’ logos, but came up both empty-handed and out the money charged to their credit cards. More than 230 complaints from 43 states, including 13 in Michigan, have been filed since mid-September, the BBB said.
Fan Authentics has a 94 percent negative rating, compared with an only 6 percent neutral rating, according to the BBB website. The business received only 1.04 out of 5 stars based on 35 customer reviews, and got an “F” on the BBB trustworthiness scale. Fan Authentics merchandise promotes both college and professional sports teams, as well as NASCAR racing.
Customers complaining about the business said they tried to email, write or call when their merchandise didn't arrive on time, but received no response. The “business cannot be reached by postal mail and does not respond to email sent to their support group,” the BBB said.
