Food Trucks Return To Downtown Detroit Monday: Here's The First Lineup

DETROIT — You know it's getting close to summer when the food trucks make their way into downtown Detroit.

Starting Monday, several food trucks will take over the Cadillac Square area and Woodward Esplanade each week day, offering people delicious local food.

Most food trucks will be ready to serve from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily. The 2024 season runs through October.

Here's the opening lineup for week 1.

May 6: Chick A Dee, Lemonade and Beyon, Los Dos Amigos, Smoke Ring, Maad House Tea

May 7: Lemonade and Beyond, Sonny’s Hamburgers, Cousins Main Lobster, Kabar Catering Sushi Truck, Cynt-Sational Eats, Unity Catering

May 8: Chick A Dee, the Great Greek, Buffy’s Mexicasian Grill, Stix & Stones, the Rolling Stoves, Unity Catering

May 9: Detroit’s Original Seafood Truck, Sonny’s Hamburgers, Buffy’s Mexicasian Grill, Curbside Eatery, Poke Ur Way, Smoke Ring

May 10: Detroit’s Original Seafood Truck, Los Dos Amigos, NuSol Food Buggy, the Main Ingredient
