How To Watch Detroit Tigers Opening Day Baseball Game

DETROIT — The Detroit Tigers will host the St. Louis Cardinals in the home opener Friday.

First pitch is scheduled for 1:10 p.m. at Comerica Park. Framber Valdez is scheduled to take the mound for the Tigers and Michael McGreevy for the Cardinals.

If you're not going to the game or downtown, there are multiple ways you can watch the game on TV.

The game will be broadcast on Detroit SportsNet, which is the team's new home for 2026. Most cable providers offer the channel.

If your cable provider does not have the channel, you can buy a Detroit SportsNet streaming subscription for $19.99 per month or $189.99 per year.

Friday's game will also be on Fox 2 Detroit in Metro Detroit.

The Tigers games will not be broadcast on FanDuel Sports Network Detroit, which was their home last year.
