How To Watch Oprah, Harris Virtual Rally In Detroit Area Thursday

METRO DETROIT — Vice President and presidential candidate Kamala Harris is hosting a campaign event with media icon Oprah Winfrey Thursday in the Detroit area, according to campaign officials.
The online event, called "United for America 2024" is scheduled to start at 8 p.m. Thursday, according to campaign officials.
During the event, Oprah and Harris will be talking with voters from across the nation. They will discuss why they are supporting Harris for president and what's at stake in the election.

"What is essential to me is getting people motivated to vote – and that’s my intention in hosting this event," Oprah said in a news release. "My goal is to get people excited about the privilege and power of the vote."
Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer is also expected to participate in the event, which will take place in front of a life studio audience.

Campaign officials have not disclosed where the event will be held, only noting that it's filming in the "Metro Detroit area."
