Hillary Clinton's running mate is set to discuss her plan for poverty.

(Originally published Oct. 18, 2016) DETROIT, MI — Vice presidential candidate Tim Kaine will visit Focus: HOPE on Tuesday, a Detroit institution geared toward fighting racism and poverty, where she will lay out the Democratic plan to battle poverty in America.
The event starts at 2:30 p.m. and is closed to the public, the Detroit Free Press reports. Kaine's wife, Anne Holton, will be campaigning with him.
According to the Detroit News, Focus: HOPE was founded by Father William Cunningham and Eleanor Josaitis in 1968 in the wake of the Detroit riots.
