The upscale yoga and athletic apparel maker Lululemon Athletica already has stores in Birmingham, Troy and Novi.

DETROIT, MI — Lululemon Athletica will open a new Michigan store in downtown Detroit at 1459 Woodward Ave. this fall, according to signs at the now vacant storefront. The 3,000-square-foot space is in a building owned by Dan Gilbert’s Bedrock Detroit real estate firm.
