A man was found dead Thursday morning under an overpass near Detroit's Corktown neighborhood​, according to Michigan State Police.

DETROIT — A man was found dead Thursday morning under an overpass near Detroit’s Corktown neighborhood, according to Michigan State Police.

Troopers found the 49-year-old man dead in the area of northbound Interstate 75 near Rosa Parks Boulevard in Detroit, according to police.

Troopers also found several pieces of narcotic paraphernalia on the steel beams of the overpass, including needles, according to police.

There were no signs of foul play, according to police.

The man's family was not immediately notified, according to police.

An autopsy will be performed to determine a cause of death, according to police.
