Man, Woman Found Shot Dead Inside Detroit Home: Reports
Officers went to the Detroit home after receiving a report that a woman was possibly being held against her will, police said.
DETROIT — A man and woman were found shot dead inside a Detroit home Monday night after they got into an argument, according to multiple reports.
Deputy Detroit Police Chief Arnold Williams said officers went to a home in the 3700 block of Oakman Boulevard near Interstate 96 after receiving a report that a woman was possibly being held against her will at 11 p.m.
The caller told police the woman was being held hostage by her boyfriend as they were both armed and fighting over a gun, Williams said.

When officers arrived at the home, they found the woman's two daughters outside, Williams said.
The women told officers their mother's boyfriend had let them go, Williams said.

Officers then knocked on the home's door, and then heard shots moments later, according to reports.
Investigators sent a robot into the home and found a man and a woman with gunshot wounds, according to reports.
Officials entered the home and found them both dead from the gunshot wounds, according to reports.
Officers also found a weapon inside the home, according to reports.
Police were still investigating the incident.
