Metro Detroit Gets Record Snow Dusting On Halloween: Forecast
Temperatures will stay cold throughout the week in the metro Detroit area, before a slight warmup during the weekend, forecasters said.
METRO DETROIT — While most of Tuesday's snow fell up north and the western portions of Michigan, some parts of metro Detroit saw a record dusting Halloween night, according to the National Weather Service.
Detroit saw 0.2 inches of snowfall, which broke the previous record of 0.1 inches from 1993, according to the National Weather Service.
Records were also broken in the Tri-Cities region (Saginaw and Flint areas) with snowfall up to 1.1 inches, according to the National Weather Service.

The Muskegon area saw nearly 9 inches of snow, which also set a new record, and parts of the Upper Peninsula saw more than a foot of snow, according to the National Weather Service.
