Metro Detroit Weather: Dry Monday, Before Rainy Week
Meteorologists said the first week of May in metro Detroit brings multiple rain chances.
METRO DETROIT — After a cool and cloudy start to Monday morning in the metro Detroit area, clouds were expected to give away to afternoon sunshine, pushing temperatures into the low 60s, the National Weather Service said.
Monday will remain dry, but increasing clouds Monday night into Tuesday morning could produce some scattered rain showers before heavier rain moves into the metro Detroit area Tuesday afternoon, the National Weather Service said.
Tuesday afternoon will be a rainmaker with the rain starting to fall sometime around 2 p.m. in the metro Detroit region, the National Weather Service said. Meteorologists also warned that Tuesday's rain could spark some storms, but most of the severe weather should remain in the central and southern Ohio and Indiana.
