Metro Detroit Weather: High Heat, Humidity Returns
Meteorologists also warned the high heat and humidity levels could possibly spark severe thunderstorms late Wednesday evening.
METRO DETROIT — After any lingering showers faded away Monday morning across the metro Detroit area, temperatures will reach the upper 80s with it feeling like the lower 90s, the National Weather Service said.
Temperatures will continue rising from there, as high heat and humidity levels return Tuesday and Wednesday throughout the metro Detroit area, the National Weather Service said.
Highs will reach the lower 90s with heat indexes in the mid to upper 90s on Tuesday and Wednesday across the metro Detroit area, the National Weather Service said.

Meteorologists also warned the high heat and humidity levels could possibly spark severe thunderstorms late Wednesday evening as a cold front passes through the metro Detroit area.
Temperatures will fall back down to the middle 80s with less humidity on Thursday in the metro Detroit area, the National Weather Service said. Friday will be a touch warmer, but still manageable humidity levels, meteorologists said.
