Metro Detroit Weather: St. Patrick's Day Warm And Sunny

Thursday is St. Patrick's Day and looks to be the warmest day of week in metro Detroit.

METRO DETROIT — Most of Metro Detroit was dry Tuesday morning, but there's a slight chance for isolated sprinkles throughout the afternoon as temperatures reach near 50 degrees, the National Weather Service said.

There's a chance Wednesday could start with heavy clouds, which could lead to some early morning fog and possible light drizzles. If the clouds hang around throughout the morning and early afternoon, temperatures might remain in the low to mid 50s, the National Weather Service said.

However, meteorologists expect Wednesday's early morning clouds to give away to sunny skies, making for dry temperatures in the low 60s by the afternoon.
