METRO DETROIT — After a pleasant late season warm stretch in the Metro Detroit area that saw highs in the 70s, temperatures will start cooling back down to more fall like, according to the National Weather Service.
A moving cool front will sweep across the Detroit metro area Wednesday afternoon, pushing temperatures down into the 50s, where they'll stay for the next several days, according to the National Weather Service.
The cool front was also expected to produce gusty winds up to 30 miles per hour and scattered rain showers throughout the metro area, according to the National Weather Service.

To round out the week, both Thursday and Friday look dry under mostly sunny skies, but the cooler air settles in, keeping temperatures in the 50s both days, according to the National Weather Service.
The dry stretch will continue into the weekend as the Detroit metro area looks to get even more sunshine Saturday and Sunday, and temperatures could possibly reach 60 degrees, making for a couple of comfortable fall days, according to the National Weather Service.
