Thunderstorms Likely Monday Night Across Metro Detroit
Some of the storms could be severe, producing hail and gusty winds of 25-30 miles per hour from time to time, meteorologists said.
METRO DETROIT — After a warm Monday with temperatures reaching the upper 80s across metro Detroit, thunderstorms are expected to roll through the region Monday night, the National Weather Service said.
Meteorologists expect the storms to start crossing the metro Detroit region around 10 p.m. Some storms could be severe, producing hail and gusty winds of 25-30 miles per hour from time to time, the National Weather Service said.
Any overnight lingering storms and showers in the metro Detroit area should fizzle out Tuesday morning as a moving cold front pushes temperatures back down into the low 80s with less humidity, the National Weather Service said.

Wednesday brings another chance for showers and thunderstorms in the metro Detroit area as another cold front will sweep across the region, possibly keeping highs below 80 degrees, the National Weather Service said.
The comfortable air will hang around throughout the week in metro Detroit, as highs remain in the low 80s under clear skies on Thursday and Friday, the National Weather Service said.
