METRO DETROIT — Trick-or-treaters may have to fight off some wet weather Halloween night in the Metro Detroit area, according to the National Weather Service.

After a pleasant weekend, which forecasters are predicting the Detroit area will see highs in the 60s under clear and sunny skies, rain showers begin picking up Sunday night, according to the National Weather Service.

Those rain showers are expected to bleed over into Monday and could stick around the Detroit metro area into the evening and nighttime hours, according to the National Weather Service.

Despite the rain, Monday was still expected to see highs reach the 60s during the afternoon hours, before temperatures fall into the 50s during trick-or-treating time, according to the National Weather Service.
