METRO DETROIT — After a pleasant and dry week across Metro Detroit, rain will move in the area this weekend, particularly on Sunday, the National Weather Service said.
After a dry Friday with temperatures reaching the low 80s, clouds will begin to move in on Saturday with increasing humidity, the National Weather Service said.
However, Saturday was expected to be dry, with just a slight chance for showers during the nighttime hours as highs reach the mid 80s, the National Weather Service said.

Those rain chances increase Sunday, so any Detroit Lions fans planning to tailgate before Sunday's game should plan on some kind of cover from the rain, the National Weather Service said.
The rain showers will be scattered across the Metro Detroit area Sunday morning before transitioning into a more widespread rain system sometime after 3 p.m. as highs struggle to reach the 80s, the National Weather Service said.
