MI Gas Prices Jump Again, Reach 2023 High: AAA
Gas prices in the metro Detroit region also jumped to a 2023 high Monday morning, according to AAA.

MICHIGAN — Gas prices in Michigan hit a 2023 high Monday morning, according to AAA.
The average price for a regular gallon of gas in Michigan was $3.75, up nine cents from last week and 26 cents higher than this time last month, according to AAA.
To fill up a 15-gallon tank, drivers across Michigan paid an average of $56, which is still about $22 cheaper than the highest price in 2022, according to AAA.

Gas prices in the metro Detroit area also set a 2023 high Monday morning, jumping to $3.76 for a regular gallon of gas, according to AAA.
The new high in the metro region jumped seven cents from last week and is 21 cents higher than this time last month, according to AAA.

"Gas prices across Michigan continue to rise, reaching the highest prices so far this year," AAA Spokesperson Adrienne Woodland said. "Lower gas demand amid increasing supply will likely help to slow price increases."
The most expensive places to get gas across Michigan were in Ann Arbor ($3.82), Marquette ($3.78) and Benton Harbor ($3.78). The least expensive places were in Flint ($3.73), Grand Rapids ($3.75) and Metro Detroit ($3.76).
