Midtown Detroit Coffee Shop Closing Down

The shop is closing down after just three years.

DETROIT — The Red Hook cafe is closing its Midtown location after three years.

The popular coffee shop, located at 3965 Woodward Avenue, said its last day will be Sept. 26.

"After three wonderful years, we’ve made the difficult decision to close our Midtown shop," reads a statement on Instagram. "While this isn’t the news we hoped to share, we’re incredibly grateful for every customer who walked through our doors, shared a conversation, grabbed a coffee and made us part of their routine. It has been a privilege to serve the Midtown community and be a small part of so many people’s days."
