Midwest Athletics to Begin Detroit Spring Basketball League

Midwest Athletics announces that the 9th Annual Detroit Spring Basketball League will begin on Sunday, April 23.

From Midwest Athletics: The 9th Annual Detroit Spring Basketball League will begin league play on Sunday, April 23, 2017. Last season we had over 110 teams compete in the Spring D-League.

Don't hesitate if you have players involved in spring activities, Midwest can accommodate team bye dates and scheduling request during league play. Midwest Athletics prides itself on organization, competitive games, age appropriate age groups, seasoned MHSAA referees and great facilities.

Spring League Dates: League play will begin on Sunday, April 23rd and end on Sunday, June 4th.

League Highlights:

  • All teams make the play-offs-Gold/Silver/Bronze divisions
  • 1st & 2nd place team trophies and individual awards
  • First class facilities/State certified seasoned referees for ALL games
  • Weekly scheduling to accommodate your game requests
  • Doubleheaders with less time between games-Get in and get home...
  • Cost:-$795 per team/$695 per team for Returning or Multiple teams entry

Age Groups: Girls-3rd/4th, 5th/6th, 7th/8th, JV & Varsity | Boys- 2nd/3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th , 8th, 9th, JV & Varsity divisions.

Location: Harper Woods High School will be the home facility for league play. Several additional facilities will be used to host the league-(Lakeview HS, Madison HS, etc.)
