Mother Dead, Another Person Injured In Detroit Double Shooting: Police
Police have not arrested the suspected shooter and did not release any more information related to the shooting.
DETROIT — A mother was killed and another person was critically injured in a double shooting Wednesday night in Detroit, according to police.
The shooting happened at 8:10 p.m. in the area of Greiner and Runyon streets near Seven Mile Road and Hoover Street, according to police.
Police said a woman tried to intervene and de-escalate a fight between two people who knew each other before a man pulled out a gun and shot her and another person.

The woman was taken to a nearby hospital where she died, while the other victim was in critical condition, according to police.
