Multiple Metro Detroit Freeway Closures This Weekend
Metro Detroit drivers can expect closures on all four major freeways in the region.

METRO DETROIT — There will be multiple freeway closures across Metro Detroit this weekend, Oct. 21 through Oct. 24., according to the Michigan Department of Transportation.
The eastbound local lanes on Interstate 96 from Outer Drive to the Davison Freeway in Detroit will close down Friday morning at 10 a.m. The lanes will open back up Monday at 5 a.m, according to the Michigan Department of Transportation.
The westbound local lanes on Interstate 96 from the Davidson Freeway to Outer Drive will also close down Friday evening at 7 p.m. through noon Monday, according to the Michigan Department of Transportation.

In Oakland County, the westbound lanes on Interstate 696 from Telegraph Road to Interstate 275 will shut down Friday night at 8 p.m. and remain closed through 5 a.m. Monday, according to the Michigan Department of Transportation.
Eastbound Interstate 94 between Michigan Avenue and Cecil Avenue will shut down Friday night at 7 p.m. through 5 a.m. Monday, according to the Michigan Department of Transportation.

Northbound Interstate 75 from Interstate 375 to 8 Mile Road will close Saturday at 7 a.m. through 5 p.m. Sunday, according to the Michigan Department of Transportation.
