Pi Day 2017 Deals On Pizza And Pies In Metro Detroit (Updated)

For $3.14 — get it, 3.14 is Pi, the ratio of a circle's circumference to its diameter — you can get some great deals on Tuesday, March 14.

(Updated) METRO DETROIT, MI — You remember the formula from your math class — 3.14 is Pi, the ratio of a circle’s circumference to its diameter. But on Tuesday, March 14, Pi Day, you don’t have to be a math whiz to take advantage of the special deals.

Here are some of them:

Como’s Restaurant in Ferndale is offering one-third off all pizzas. The offer is good for dine-in customers only.

Blaze Fast-Fire’d Pizza is offering 12-inch pizzas for $3.14 for dine-in customers only. Michigan locations include Allen Park, Novi and Royal Oak.

Boston Market is offering a free Rotisserie Chicken Pot Pie with the purchase of any individual meal and drink for customers who have a coupon available on the website.

Grand Traverse Pie Co., which has locations throughout the state, is offering a free slice of ABC (apple, blueberry, cherry) pie with any purchase. The Traverse City-based pie company is partnering with Michigan State University and Wayne State University students to serve pie on their campuses on Pi Day. It also has a contest, now in its third year, that offers cash prizes to schools, gift cards to individuals and a grand prize of free pie for a year for videos that show how Pi can be applied in everyday life. Local locations are in Brighton, Plymouth, Rochester Hills and Troy.

Participating Hungry Howie’s pizza locations are offering a medium, one-topping pizza with the purchase of any of the chain’s breads. The deal is offered Monday and Tuesday, exclusively online.

Kroger stores are offering select 8-inch pies for $3.14.

MOD Pizza is offering its mini pizza for $3.14. The pizzeria has locations in Brighton, Canton, Chesterfield, Livonia, Northville, Rochester Hills, Shelby Township and Woodhaven.

Pieology Pizzeria is offering 11 ½-inch stone oven fired pizzas for $3.14 at all of its location, including Royal Oak and West Bloomfield.

Plum Market, which has locations in Bloomfield Township, West Bloomfield Township and Ann Arbor, is offering a six-inch pie from Achatz Handmade Pie Co. for $3.14.

At Whole Foods Market stores, customers will save $3.14 on large bakery pies and large take-and-bake pizzas. Whole Foods’ Michigan stores include locations in Detroit, Rochester Hills, Troy and West Bloomfield Township.

In Woodhaven, Stevi B’s Pizza Buffet is offering its unlimited pizza buffet for $3.14 (beverages not included). It’s also having an Instagram contest for customers to submit photos with the hashtag #InfiniteBuffet.
