Police Searching For Missing Detroit Teen

The teen was last seen at her home in the area of West Grand River Avenue and Interstate 96 on Thursday, according to police.

DETROIT — Police are asking the public for help in finding a missing Detroit teenager.

Marissa Wright, 16, was last seen at her home on the 12000 block of Northlawn, in the area of West Grand River Avenue and Interstate 96, on Thursday, according to police.

Police said Wright left home without permission Thursday and hasn't returned, according to police.

Police described Wright as a white girl standing 5 feet and 1 inch tall and weighs roughly 105 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a blue and white compression shirt and black leggings, according to police.

Police asked anyone with information about the missing teen or anyone who may know where she is to call Commander Anthony O'Rourke of Detroit Police Department's 2nd Precinct at 313-596-5240. Anonymous tipsters can call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-Speak Up (800-773-2587).
