Police Seek Suspect In Fatal Shooting Of 15-Year-Old Boy :VIDEO

Detroit Police are asking the public for help identifying a suspect involved with the shooting of a 15-year-old boy on Detroit's westside.

DETROIT — Detroit Police are searching for a suspect in connection to a fatal shooting of a 15-year-old boy that happened in Detroit last Tuesday.

Kenneth Merritt Jr., 15, was at a sleepover with friends on the 18600 block of Staheli when he was struck in the head by someone who fired at least a dozen shots at the home, police said.

Merritt Jr. died Monday after being taken off life support, police said.

After firing multiple shots, the suspect then fled in a dark-colored Dodge Journey, police said.
