Pool Season Kicks Off In Dearborn With New Water Slides

Pool season is upon us around Dearborn. Here's your guide to making a splash this summer.

DEARBORN, MI — Dearborn’s outdoor pool season is coming up. Beginning Saturday, May 26, pools across the city will open with a splash. Particularly, the opening of Dunworth Pools, which will introduce two new water slides.

Dunworth Pool will offer open swimming weekdays from 4-7 p.m. and Saturdays, Sundays and holidays from 12-6 p.m. through June 14. Swimmers are in for treat at Dunworth as they discover the new water slides, which empty into what had been the diving well and are tied together by a 14-foot launch tower. Each slide runs more than 100 feet. One of the slides is open and the other is enclosed.
