Popular Detroit Brewery Closes Down After 11 Years
The brewery was best known for its sour beers and pizza.
DETROIT — A popular brewery in Detroit's Midtown neighborhood closed down on Sunday after 11 years.
Jolly Pumpkin, best known for its sour beers and pizza, closed its location on Canfield Street. However, staff signaled a return in the future.
"We are so grateful for the love, support, and memories you’ve shared with us over the years, it has truly meant everything," the post said. "This isn’t goodbye, just see you soon. JP will be back in Detroit, and we can’t wait to share what’s next."

Staff promised more updates in the future.
Jolly Pumpkin also had locations in Royal Oak and Dearborn, but those were both also closed recently. They still have open locations in Ann Arbor and East Lansing.
