DETROIT — A popular Detroit pizzeria reopened last week after it was shut down for more than a year due to a fire.
Supino Pizzeria said they have reopened their Eastern Market location after a fire damaged part of the building last April.
The Eastern Market spot is the original location for Supino, which is best-known for their East Coast style, thin crust, foldable pizza. Supino also has a restaurant in New Center at 6519 Woodward Avenue.

"We’re serving the same tasty pies as before but you may notice we’ve had a bit of a facelift," Supino said in a post to Instagram. "We’re so happy to debut it to the people of Detroit after being out of commission since April of last year - many thanks to the aforementioned folks as well as to my crew and management team who have stuck it out through a tough year."
The Eastern Market location is open Tuesday-Sunday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., including the bar and dining room.
