Popular Fast-Food Restaurant Opens New Detroit Location
The new restaurant opened Wednesday along Michigan Avenue in Detroit's Corktown neighborhood.
DETROIT — A popular fast-food restaurant opened a new Detroit location Wednesday.
Jimmy John’s, known for their sandwiches, opened a new 1,600-square-foot spot Wednesday at 1620 Michigan Avenue in Detroit's Corktown neighborhood.
The new restaurant is owned by The Tomey Group, which is a family-owned company headquartered in Farmington Hills.

"We’re thrilled to open our new Jimmy John’s location in the vibrant and historic Corktown neighborhood and further expand our pride to the city of Detroit," CEO of The Tomey Group Anthony Tomey said. "We’re excited to bring fresh and delicious sandwiches to the community for years to come!"
The new restaurant will be open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday. They will offer delivery, pickup, dine-in and catering options.
