METRO DETROIT — Scattered rain showers are expected Tuesday night into Wednesday morning in the metro Detroit area, according to the National Weather Service. Temperatures will stay around 40 degrees Tuesday with light rain showers that are likely to start around 8:00 p.m. Tuesday night.
More rain showers will come and go Wednesday morning before temperatures reach the 50s by the afternoon. Thursday morning will also bring rain shower chances before afternoon temperatures reach the 60s, which is the highest point they'll reach this week. Thursday will also see winds SW 20 gusting 30-35 mph at times and cooling down through the late afternoon and evening, according to the National Weather Service.
Friday will be considerably cooler and dry before snow moves in. A wintry mix is expected to start Friday night before possibly transition into all snow overnight into Saturday morning with temperatures in the 30s. Saturday's high will be 40 degrees, according to the National Weather Service.
