Rain showers will become more widespread across the region during the evening and nighttime hours, according to the National Weather Service.

Forecasters do not expect any severe weather across the region Friday, according to the National Weather Service.

The widespread rain showers will bleed over into Saturday morning when temperatures climb toward the mid 50s across southeastern Michigan, according to the National Weather Service.

Forecasters expect the rain to shift into light snow as temperatures across southeastern Michigan cool into the 30s Saturday night, according to the National Weather Service.

Any lingering snow showers in southeastern Michigan should fade away by Sunday morning as temperatures climb toward the low 40s, according to the National Weather Service.

Temperatures across southeastern Michigan will hit 50 degrees next Monday and highs could reach the 60s again by the middle of next week, according to the National Weather Service.
