Rainy Wednesday, Slight Chance Of Storms: Metro Detroit Weather

METRO DETROIT — Scattered rain showers will linger in the metro Detroit area all throughout Wednesday, according to the National Weather Service.

Forecasters expect rain showers to move into the metro area sometime Wednesday morning and persist throughout the day as highs struggle to hit 50 degrees, according to the National Weather Service.

There's a slight chance for thunderstorms with the rain showers Wednesday, though forecasters do not expect any severe weather, according to the National Weather Service.

The scattered rainfall will pick up later in the day Wednesday toward the nighttime hours, especially in Oakland and Macomb counties, according to the National Weather Service.

Any lingering rain showers should move out of the area by Thursday morning as high temperatures make their way back into the 50s, according to the National Weather Service.
