DETROIT — A pickup driver was killed Wednesday afternoon after the truck was struck by a double gravel hauler on southbound Interstate 75 at Springwells Street in Southwest Detroit, Michigan State Police said.
Officials said a preliminary investigation showed the gravel hauler hit the pickup truck and a semi-tanker, which caused the semi-tanker’s trailer to come undone and fall onto a Dodge Charger that was on the freeway's shoulder.
