Severe Thunderstorm Warning For Southeast Michigan: NWS

The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for Wayne County and Southern Macomb County until 9:30 p.m Tuesday.

The severe storms will be near Warren around 8:35 p.m., downtown Detroit at 8:40 p.m., St. Clair Shores, Mount Clemens, Grosse Ile and Belle Isle around 8:45 p.m. and Grosse Pointe around 8:50 p.m.

SOUTHEASTERN MICHIGAN — The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for Wayne and Southern Macomb County until 9:30 p.m Tuesday evening.

The severe storms will be near Warren around 8:35 p.m., downtown Detroit at 8:40 p.m., St. Clair Shores, Mount Clemens, Grosse Ile and Belle Isle around 8:45 p.m. and Grosse Pointe around 8:50 p.m.

The storms are capable of producing 60 mph wind guests, in addition to heavy rain and hail.

A severe thunderstorm watch remains in effect for all of Southeast Michigan until 11:00 p.m. Tuesday night.
