DETROIT — A Detroit pizza maker is giving away free pizza Tuesday in celebration of the Detroit Lions first playoff win in 32 years.

Shield's, with locations in Detroit, Southfield and Troy, is giving away free small and large pizzas from 5 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday.

Here's what you need to know:

  • Free pizzas will be available to dine-in guests only. No carryout and no delivery.
  • Groups of one or two customers will get one small pizza with one topping. Groups of three or more customers will get one large pizza with one topping.
  • Extra toppings will still be available for their usual price.
  • The offer is only available for guests who don’t have a reservation. Customers who booked reservations beforehand will not be eligible to participate.
  • Drinks are not included. Officials encourage customers to tip "based on the original cost of the pizza."
