Snow Could Follow Summertime Temps: Metro Detroit Weather
The snow likely won't stick around, if it accumulates at all. But this weekend will certainly mark the end of April's summer temperatures.
METRO DETROIT — A beautiful stretch of 80 degree weather is coming to an end, as a cold front will push metro Detroit lows back into the upper 30s with possible snowflakes early next week, according to the National Weather Service.
The unseasonably warm temperatures are expected to hit 80 degrees again on Friday and Saturday under sunny skies before showers and thunderstorms move into the metro Detroit region Sunday afternoon, according to the National Weather Service.
Forecasters do not expect any severe weather Sunday, but warned any thunderstorm that pops up in the region could produce heavy rainfall and strong winds with gusts reaching up to 60 miles per hour.
