Snow Returns Friday Night Amid Cooler Temps: Metro Detroit Weather

Forecasters do not expect much accumulation.

Scattered snow showers are possible over the Detroit area Friday as cooler air settles into the region, according to the National Weather Service.

The light snow will move into the area during the nighttime hours with temperatures falling into the 20s, the weather service said.

Highs will warm through the weekend and hit the 60s early next week. There will also be chances for rain early next week as well, the weather service said.
