METRO DETROIT — Snow showers will move into the metro Detroit area Sunday morning and continue through most of the day, according to the National Weather Service.
Forecasters expect most areas in the metro region will see between 1 and 2 inches of snow, with higher totals farther to the south toward the Ohio border, the National Weather Service said.
Cold temperatures will also stick around in the metro region as Sunday's high will only reach the low 30s, according to the National Weather Service.

After Sunday, the next chance for snow in the metro Detroit area comes Wednesday, when a bigger system could move into the metro region and possibly dump between 3 and 6 inches of snow, according to local forecasters.
