Starlink Satellites Light Up Metro Detroit's Sky: Here's When They Will Return
The moving lights over metro Detroit are the Starlink Satellites. Here's when they'll return.
METRO DETROIT — A string of lights in metro Detroit's nighttime sky caused quite a stir Sunday, especially since the military shot down an unidentified object over Lake Huron earlier in the day.
However, the lights are nothing to be concerned about, as they are just part of the Starlink Satellites, according to space exploration company SpaceX.
The satellites provide satellite internet access to over 48 counties. They are owned by SpaceX, which was founded in 2002 by Elon Musk.
