Storms Likely Across Metro Detroit As Temps Drop

Forecasters do not expect any severe weather.

More thunderstorms are likely to cross metro Detroit on Friday as temperatures drop across the region, according to the National Weather Service.

Highs Friday will climb toward 70 degrees before the storms move into the region along a cold front during the nighttime hours, the weather service said.

The storms will linger into the overnight hours, but forecasters do not expect any severe weather.

Highs will be cooler in the 60s on Saturday with more rain and falling temperatures throughout the day, the weather service said.

Temperatures across the region will only hit 50 degrees on Sunday and Monday. Highs then return to the 60s and 70s for the rest of the week, the weather service said.
