SOUTHEASTERN MICHIGAN — A line of scattered thunderstorms is expected to cross southeastern Michigan on Tuesday evening, bringing the possibility of severe weather to the region, according to the National Weather Service.
Forecasters warned some storms can produce large hail up to 1 inch in diameter and damaging wind gusts reaching up to 60 miles per hour between 5 and 11 p.m. Tuesday across southeastern Michigan.

Temperatures across southeastern Michigan cool back into the 50s Wednesday under clear skies, according to the National Weather Service.
High temperatures across southeastern Michigan will then warm back up to near 60 degrees Thursday before another chance of rain on Friday and Saturday, according to the National Weather Service.
