Stormy Weather Returns With Temps Climbing Back Into 70s This Weekend: Metro Detroit Weather

A warming trend will push temperatures back into the 70s with chances for storms across the metro Detroit region, according to the National Weather Service.

But first, highs will struggle to reach 50 degrees with rain throughout Friday, the weather service said.

Drier conditions return Saturday with afternoon sunshine pushing temperatures well into the 50s, the weather service said.

Much warmer temperatures move into the area next week with highs climbing into the 70s, the weather service said.

With those warmer temperatures come chances for thunderstorms on Monday and Tuesday, the weather service said.

Sunday: Rain; High 74, Low 62

Monday: Chance for Rain; High 76, Low 61

Tuesday: Rain/Storms; High 78, Low 62
