Strong Thunderstorms To Snow This Week Across Detroit Area: What To Know
Forecasters warned the storms could produce large hail, 60 miles per hour winds and an isolated tornado.
Another round of strong thunderstorms is expected across southeastern Michigan this week, according to the National Weather Service.
The storms will move into the region sometime Tuesday evening and continue through the overnight hours, the weather service said.
Forecasters warned the storms will be capable of producing heavy downpours, large hail up to 1 inch in diameter, strong winds up to 60 miles per hour and possibly an isolated tornado.

As of Monday morning, the region was placed under a slight risk (level 1/5) for severe weather Tuesday.
Highs will climb to near 60 degrees Wednesday with lingering rain showers from Tuesday's storms before it changes over to a rain/snow mix when cooler air arrives, the weather service said.

Temperatures Wednesday night will fall to below freezing with snow showers, but forecasters do not expect any accumulation.
Thursday will be dry with highs in the 40s before another rain/snow chance on Friday with slightly warmer temperatures, the weather service said.
