Team Wellness Center Opens New Pharmacy in Detroit

Detroit, MI (October 9, 2018) - Team Wellness Center recently announced the opening of Detroit Wellness Pharmacy, located inside the agency’s Team East clinic at 6309 Mack Avenue, Detroit, MI 48207.

The move is a part of Team Wellness Center’s integrated care philosophy which includes offering mental and physical health care together in one location. The pharmacy is located on the same site as a mental health and substance use treatment center, as well as a primary health care and dental clinic.

"The addition of Detroit Wellness Pharmacy is a major step forward in helping people attain their personal wellness goals," said Pamela Jastrabek, President & COO of Team Wellness Center. "A person can see their primary care doctor, dentist, therapist, and pick up prescriptions in one convenient location."

In addition to filling prescriptions, Detroit Wellness Pharmacy offers over-the-counter medications and other household medical supplies as requested by customers. Also, an on-site pharmacist is available for counseling and assistance.

Detroit Wellness Pharmacy is Team Wellness Center’s third pharmacy. The agency already operates pharmacies at its Eastern Market and Southgate, MI locations. However, neither of those sites include a primary care and dental clinic.
