First, there is a slight chance for thunderstorms across southeastern Michigan on Friday when highs reach the low 80s, according to the weather service.

Any thunderstorm that pops-up across the region Friday is not expected to be severe, according to the weather service.

Saturday will be pleasant across southeastern Michigan with highs reaching the low 70s under sunny skies, according to the weather service.

It will be even warmer Sunday when highs across southeastern Michigan hit the upper 80s under sunny skies, according to the weather service.

Then temperatures soar into the upper 90s next week across southeastern Michigan, according to the weather service.

Southeastern Michigan can see highs in the upper 90s with heat indices reaching triple digits Monday through Thursday, according to the weather service.

Each day will be near record highs and it could be the first time the Detroit area has seen four consecutive 90+ degrees since early July 2002, according to the weather service.

Friday: Isolated thunderstorms; High 81, Low 57

Saturday: Sunny; High 79, Low 60

Sunday: Sunny; High 88, Low 70

Monday: Hot; High 99, Low 74

Tuesday: Hot; High 97, Low 76
